Final Product

 

This is my final motorised skateboard. As you can see the motor and the batteries that add the mechanism to the product which enables it to move automatically by the press of a foot switch.

This is the prototype of my design. I was asked to design a simple model of how my product will look like. it does not look like my final product but has all the basics there.

These three images are the drawing I desiged in order to get a basic idea of how I want my product to look like. As you can see there are different components like the motor and battery pack that will add the mechanical funtion to my product.

Introduction

 

As part of my Product Design course for my GCSE's, I had to create a product out of my own imagination (realistic of course). With this I also had to create a presentation of my product. Together they will contribute towards my final grade for this subject. So I decided to create a skateboard with a mechanical funtion to it which will enabe it to move without me having to push as you would normally do with a standard skateboard.
